MiQ appoints Luis Arvizu as Managing Director of its Mexico operation

Mexico City – May 26th, 2025MiQ, the global programmatic media company, has announced the appointment of Luis Arvizu as the new Managing Director for Mexico, reinforcing its commitment to regional growth and the continued sophistication of the local digital ecosystem.

With over two decades of experience driving digital transformation across Latin America, Luis has led pioneering initiatives in media, telecommunications, and ad-tech. His career includes key leadership roles such as General Manager of Yahoo Mexico, VP for Latin America at MediaMath, and Managing Director of VIX at Televisa, where he was part of the team that built one of the region’s most prominent digital video platforms.

Luis has also played a leading role in companies like Axtel, Terra Networks, and Infosel, where he oversaw milestones such as the launch of Axtel’s first Internet service, the rollout of mobile offerings in Central America, and the execution of Mexico’s first-ever digital advertising campaign. Most recently, he co-founded Shopeak Media, a firm focused on retail media.

He holds a degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey and earned a Master’s in International Business Administration from the University of Bristol and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France. Luis has also served as President of IAB Mexico and as a board member in several industry organizations.

With his arrival, MiQ aims to accelerate its expansion in Mexico, build deeper connections with advertisers and agencies, and continue strengthening its value proposition through technology, data, and measurable outcomes.
