We’re excited to share some big news: MiQ has been named a launch partner for the newly announced Ad Context Protocol (AdCP). This is a major step forward for both our company and the wider digital advertising industry.
So, what is AdCP? In simple terms, it’s a new way for all of the different “agents” in our industry that buy ads online – present and future – to talk to each other more easily and efficiently. If you remember how real-time bidding (RTB) changed the game for programmatic advertising years ago, AdCP has the potential to do the same for the new era of AI-powered ad buying. It’s like giving all the different systems in our industry a common language, so they can work together better and faster.
For MiQ, this is a perfect fit. We’ve always prided ourselves on being connected to the entire ad ecosystem. We are, of course, partner agnostic, meaning we work with everyone…all the major DSPs, SSPs, RMNs, and data providers. Our MiQ Sigma Trading Agent already links to multiple buying platforms and can optimize thousands of ad campaigns at once, often just by using simple text prompts. With AdCP, we’ll be able to connect our technology to even more partners and unlock new capabilities for our clients.
As a launch partner of the Ad Context Protocol, MiQ will now be shaping how we take this technology to the next level.
We will begin initial testing of AdCP in early 2026 in parallel with our continued roll-out and advancement of our agentic technologies. This is a big opportunity for us to lead the way in making digital advertising smarter, more connected, and more effective — for our clients and for everyone at MiQ.
